As already reviewed by many others, we've been to many an escape room in the US and the UK but none of them as good as this. Innovative, big... read more (not giving anything more than this away), atmospheric and certainly not more of the same or 'just another escape room'. So good, we've changed our plans for the last day of the holiday to go back and do another room. Outstanding! Oh and we failed.

I’d love to say that we found the Bletchley Blueprints, but sadly they feel into enemy hands! This was a fantastic escape room with close attention to detail paid to... read more decor and puzzles.
We have been to a few escape rooms and this one was REALLY GOOD. The rooms isn’t about padlocks and keys, but as you would expect with a Bletchley related room- it’s about deciphering codes.
In COVID times- i think it is worth mentioning that there were instructions about wearing masks and sanitising when you book and this was adhered to throughout your visit. The room felt clean and we were impressed with the high level of organisation.
I would recommend a visit... we need to come back and do the Templars room!

My wife and I have done a few rooms together, and these are definitely some of the toughest, forgoing typical conventions and easy to spot groupings of clues etc. But... read more help is always there if you ask for it. It is a real passion project for host/creator Dan and we strongly recommend both the templar and Bletchley rooms. Great job!

This was my second visit to trapped. It was well constructed game in the style of kinsmen. Dan really making the whole experience immersive makes a real difference. The details... read more are great and the game challenging but solvable.

Myself and my partner are big fans of escape rooms and we have experienced nearly 10 so far from all over the south west.
The two escape rooms at... read more Trapped in Oakhampton are by far the best that we have done.
The host was amazing, friendly, professional and made the experience even more immersive.
As for the rooms themselves, it would be impossible to describe or put into words how incredibly well designed, thought-out, clever, immersive and fun they are. With not one single padlock in either room, your progression is revealed in a unique way with a huge “wow factor”. We could not believe how original and clever each room was. There are plenty of surprises to experience.
My only problem with Trapped is that they have now set the bar way too high, and no matter what other escape rooms we try, they are nowhere near as good as this experience.
Nothing comes anywhere near close to the experience at Trapped in Oakhampton.
Worth every penny but would happily pay a lot more.
Pure class, exceptional quality and incredibly immersive.
We can’t wait for the 3rd escape room to be finished at

Excellent from start to finish our host was in character, which made the experience even more special. We sadly didn't get out of the room in the 60 minutes but... read more we gave it a good go. I would highly recommend booking we have done 2 other rooms previously with 2 other companies but this room was far by the best we've done and very well thought out

He was friendly and engaging but didn’t manage to catch his name. Once we had walked into the building we were absolutely amazed by the level of detail just in the waiting area. The room itself was decorated brilliantly and inkeeping with the story given to us. We sadly didn’t escape but got close and were nicely shown how to finish the room. This room only has a 7% success rate which could be down to the way clues were given. Although it’s nice to not be ‘given’ the answer, sometimes are clues were far too vague and we got stuck on the first part for so long and had to ask for so many clues before being given one we could work with. Also the layout of the room meant when we completed a step we would miss out on the outcome which takes away the ‘aha’ moment slightly. We were told before the game that we would stay on our feet and didn’t need to ‘roll on the floor’ but I must warn that there is part within the room which requires getting down on the floor so a pre-warning for future groups. Nevertheless, it’s up there as one of the best rooms we’ve done...
